Academic Enhancement Program

Bar Passage Program

The bar prep program is an invaluable tool for understanding how to approach the bar exam.  Through it I learned what my strengths and  weaknesses were and how to continuously refine my skills so that when it came time to take the bar exam, I was well prepared to tackle both days. I strongly encourage others to enroll in the bar prep program as an effective (and cost-affordable) way to improve your exam-taking skills. —Ryan Talbott, February 2013 BPP Participant

The Academic Enhancement Program at Lewis & Clark Law School is piloting a comprehensive Bar Passage Program (BPP) focused on developing exam-taking skills and practice.  First launched in early 2011, this pilot project has resulted in an impressive pass rate among participating students. In fact, the pass rate for BPP students has been more than 23% higher than Lewis & Clark students who did not participate in the program, this includes second-time takers. Any Lewis & Clark graduate who is taking the next Oregon Bar Exam is eligible for the program.

The next BPP will take place from June 8th through July 13th, 2013. Use the navigation menu above to learn more.
