Mr. Edwin A. Harnden

Mr. Harnden is the managing partner at Barran Liebman where his areas of practice include Employment Litigation, Employment Law Advice, Complex Commercial Litigation, and On-Site Employment Law Training. He was the 2001 President of the Oregon State Bar and continues to actively serve on the boards of several community and Bar organizations. He is past president of the Professional Liability Fund and a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is named in The Best Lawyers In America directory. He is involved regionally and nationally with developing advanced leadership and management roles for law firms and lawyers. He has maintained a litigation practice since 1972 and has specialized in the handling of employment dispute resolution, arbitration and litigation since 1974. In addition, Ed was elected by his national colleagues as a national fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers for his sustained outstanding performance in the profession. He received the Honorary Alumni Award from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2000.
