Rights Enforced
NCVLI has several initiatives to ensure that victims' rights are actively enforced: Direct Representation, Amicus Curiae, and Technical Assistance.
Rights Education
NCVLI has a commitment to educating attorneys, victim advocates, victims and the entire justice system on victim law. In fact, NCVLI is so strongly committed to education that it requires even its subgranted to legal clinics to devote a portion of their resources to education – the result, NCVLI’s network of legal clinics had educated over 11,700 individuals nationwide on victims’ rights enforcement as of fall 2007.
Rights Development
As the only national legal organization focusing on victims’ rights enforcement, NCVLI continues to be recognized a the leader regarding crafting of model victim law.
