NCVLI Crime Victims’ Rights Week Event
Date: April 11 2011 12:00pm - 1:30pm Location: Lewis and Clark Law School, Legal Research Center, Classroom 6
As part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, NCVLI will facilitate a free presentation entitled, “Internet Perils: Cyberstalking, Cyberfraud, and Child Abuse Imagery.” The presentation will feature a panel of leading crime victims’ rights practitioners discussing the emerging issues of social media and Internet victimization, and some of the unique hurdles currently facing victims in these contexts.
The presentation will take place at the Lewis and Clark Law School Campus and will also be provided as a real-time webcast for our national audience. Attendance at this event will qualify participants for 1 hour of general CLE credits in Oregon, pending approval from the Oregon State Bar. National attendees may apply for CLE credits through the appropriate agency in their state.
Join NCVLI after the presentation for a community reception as we celebrate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and recognize our outstanding volunteers and pro bono attorneys who are working to protect and advance the rights of crime victims.
