Endangered Species Issues

PEAC’s successful initiatives to protect wildlife and conserve habitats have resulted in significant protections for biodiversity on a regional and national scale. PEAC led the case, for example, establishing the definition of a “critical habitat” for endangered species under the Endangered Species Act, thus establishing nationwide standards for species protection.
