SBLC in the Community 2012
- On February 22th, the SBLC presented a seminar on entity selection and formation to Hacienda CDC.
- On April 18th, the SBLC spoke to attendees of the Governor’s Marketplace in Salem, Oregon on fundamental legal issues for small businesses.
- On April 19th, the SBLC attended Trading at the River, an annual conference facilitated by the Oregon Native American Business and Entrepreneurial Network (ONABEN).

- On February 24th, the SBLC spoke to attendees of the Governor’s Marketplace in Salem, Oregon on fundamental legal issues for small businesses.
- On March 8th, the SBLC presented a seminar on employment law to Encore Events, a local group of wedding industry service providers.
- On March 9th, in partnership with Stoel Rives attorneys and Mercy Corps NW, 41 small businesses attended our community outreach seminar entitled “Internet Law for Small Businesses.” Special thanks to Stoel Rives attorneys Jere Webb, Jay Eckhardt, and Nathan Moceri, and to Leslie Bevan of Mercy Corps NW.
- On March 16th, the SBLC presented a seminar on entity selection and formation to Hacienda CDC.
- On April 20th and 21st, the SBLC attended Trading at the River, an annual conference facilitated by the Oregon Native American Business and Entrepreneurial Network (ONABEN).
- On April 27th, the SBLC attended the East Portland Business Fair at Mt. Hood Community College.
- On May 10th, the SBLC attended the annual Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME) Tradeshow.
- On July 20th, the SBLC attended the Women’s Small Business Summit at Mercy Corps NW.
- On August 23rd, the SBLC attended the Oregon Small Business Forum, the quarterly event takes place at OAME.
- On September 7th, the SBLC presented a seminar on entity selection and formation to Portland Society, a local group compiled of bike commuting female business owners.
- On September 24th, the SBLC attended the 18th Annual Oregon Small Business Fair.
- On October 5th, the SBLC presented a seminar on entity selection and formation to Hacienda CDC.
- On October 13th, the SBLC presented to participants at the Oregon Microenterprise Network’s Summit for Entrepreneurship.
- On December 2nd, the SBLC presented a seminar on fundamental legal issues for small businesses to the First Friday Professionals. First Friday Professionals is a networking group through the City of Portland Bureau of Purchases. They hold seminars each month on various small business topics.
