BUSINESS LAW FACULTY

The Faculty at Lewis & Clark are unique and stand out in several important ways:

They are talented and respected scholars from leading law schools around the country who bring great depth and breadth of practice experience directly to the classroom. Courses blend practical skills such as contract drafting with intellectually rigorous pedagogy.

Maintaining open communication with students is a core value here. One-on-one intellectual debates, bowling, poker, basketball and softball, moot court competitions, and Mexican dinners are just a few extracurricular activities professors share with students. Our faculty were the first of any law school in the country to invite students to fully participate in faculty hiring, from initial interviews through the final evaluation process. Student representatives also sit on all faculty committees.

Maintaining a balanced, active life outside the law is also important; the faculty's extracurricular talents are as varied as they are; among us we have artists, photographers, runners, skiers, bloggers and more.
