Federal Indian Law Clinical Internship
Session I & II: May 27-August 4, 3:30-5:30pm
One of the unique elements of the Indian law summer program is the opportunity to work with experienced Indian law practitioners while taking one or more of the Indian law classes. Qualified law students may apply to intern for attorneys who practice Indian law in private, public, or nonprofit sectors for academic credit. Students accepted in the intern program also take a concurrent seminar covering substantive, procedural, professional, and cultural competency issues. Students are expected to work a total of 120 hours for three semester hours of credit, which includes attendance at the seminar. Up to three more semester hours may be earned for additional work. Please note that a separate application detailing specific internships will be sent if you register for this offering.
