Michael Lawrence Wins American Indian Law Review Writing Competition

AILR - Michael LawrenceLewis & Clark Law School student Michael Lawrence '05 won this year's American Indian Law Review writing competition. The law journal is published by the University of Oklahoma and has been holding the competition for years.

Mike, a recent graduate, received a $1,000 prize and publication of his article in the American Indian Law Review. He wrote the article as his A paper for the Cultural Resources Protection Seminar. The topic of the article focused on dams and their effect on American Indian cultural issues.

Mike graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2005 and is currently clerking for the Idaho Court of Appeals.
