Family Business Seminar

Description:

This seminar examines the unique problems facing the attorney representing a family business, with emphasis on the psychological factors affecting both the relationships among the family members working together in business and the operation of the business itself. Special attention is given to the transfer of management and ownership of the business to successive generations. Students are evaluated by class participation and a series of short papers satisfying the "B" Writing Requirement for graduation.
