Description:
This course examines the body of U.S. law that protects persons with disabilities in the areas of employment, public accommodations, government services and programs, education and housing. The primary focus of the course is upon the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, with secondary focus upon the Rehabilitation, Architectural Barriers, Individuals with Disabilities in Education, and Fair Housing Acts.
No prerequisites although Employment Law I or Employment Discrimination are recommended.
