Advanced International Business Transactions

Description:

This advanced seminar in international business transactions is an in-depth presentation and study of selected business transactions and practical resolution of business problems most frequently encountered in transnational ventures. The legal systems of selected Asian and/or European countries and other active commercial centers, with emphasis on legal aspects impacting the negotiation of contracts, product marketing and distribution, personnel, branch operations, dispute resolution, joint ventures (creation and dissolution) are studied closely. Emphasis is placed on the practitioner's perspective and skills, with possible "mock negotiations" of a major international joint venture agreement.
