Professional Background
Alison Wilkinson joined the National Crime Victim law Institute (NCVLI) as a staff attorney and clinical faculty member in January 2009. Prior to joining NCVLI, Ms. Wilkinson worked as a litigation associate at the law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in New York. Her practice at Orrick involved general commercial litigation, with a focus on accountants’ liability and federal securities law, as well as the representation of pro bono clients in the areas of trusts and estates and family law. As a law student, Ms. Wilkinson was a member of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and Treasurer of Virginia Law Women.
