Professional Background
Ed Brunet, Henry J. Casey Professor of Law, is a nationally known scholar in the areas of arbitration and pre-trial procedure. Brunet has been cited by Courts and journal authors over 700 times. He has written over 40 articles and several books. Brunet’s articles have been published in the law reviews of Michigan, Duke, Cornell, Tulane, Illinois, Iowa, Cal-Davis, Virginia, Georgia, SMU and North Carolina.
Brunet’s books have been published by Cambridge University Press, Thomson Reuters, and Lexis. Although Brunet is a committed scholar, he remains a respected teacher and has been awarded the Leo Levinson award for Excellence in Teaching three times. Brunet was a visiting Professor of Law at Emory University in 2002.
