Transfer and Visiting Students

Welcome Transfer, Visiting, LLM, & MSL Students!

We hope that you will find the information on Inside L&C helpful to you as an incoming student. There are some resources available to our transfer/visiting, and our LLM incoming students apart from those provided to the general incoming student class. We’ve tried to highlight those here for you.

For Transfer and Visiting students beginning in the spring semester, please contact the Registrar’s office, lawreg@lclark.edu / 503.768.6614 with questions about the transfer/visiting process.

Resources for Transfer & Visiting Students

  • Frequently Asked Questions: The Transfer/Visiting student’s Frequently Asked Questions page addresses many of the most commonly asked questions.
  • Keep Your Information Current: If you have recently moved to Portland, update your contact information.
  • Transfer/ Visiting SBA Student Representative: There is currently not a Student Bar Association (SBA) of L&C elected representative for all transfer/visiting students at Lewis & Clark. Please feel free to contact the Student Bar Association at sba@lclark.edu if you have any questions.
