The Center for Animal Law Studies is excited to be be able to offer support for the first Animal Law focused conference in Africa. For over a year, Natasha Dolezal, director of International Animal Law, has been working in partnership with Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW), WildlifeDirect, and Elizabeth Gitari on planning the first of its kind legal conference focused on the field of animal law.
The two day event will be open to law students, lawyers, professors, and professionals, and provide an opportunity to learn about the field, network with others in the animal/wildlife protection community, as well as be a part of Kenya’s leading effort aimed at growing animal law.
