A judicial clerkship with the Oregon Court of Appeals or Supreme Court can be a great start to your legal career!

Guest Speakers:

Hon. Rives Kistler, Oregon Supreme Court
Hon. Darleen Ortega, Oregon Court of Appeals
Lora Keenan ‘95, Staff Attorney, Oregon Court of Appeals

Each spring, the Oregon appellate courts accept applications from 2L students for 2 year clerkships that will begin the fall after graduation (this year, fall 2013).  Come learn more about what clerking opportunities are available, what clerks for each of the courts do, and how you can put your best foot forward in the application process.

Speakers will also talk about summer internship & externship opportunities for 1L and 2L students.  Volunteering or externing for one of the Courts is a great way to get research and writing experience, especially if you are interested in a judicial clerkship after graduation.

All years of students are welcome to attend.

See the Career Services Job Postings for the announcements about externships and the judicial clerk recruitment.
