Lewis & Clark Law School is co-sponsoring an important event with Congregation Beth Israel: a talk by Attorney Lawrence Kaye entitled “Holocaust Art Reparations.”
Kaye is nationally known for his expertise dealing with art works stolen by the Nazis from Jewish families. He will speak about visual art objects (such as paintings and sculptures) stolen by the Nazis and the legal efforts to either return the stolen art objects or, when that is not possible, obtain monetary damages for the rightful owners.
The event will take place at Beth Israel’s Pollin Chapel, which is located at 1972 NW Flanders Street, on Friday, April 29, at 6:00 p.m.
