The Africa Animal Law Convention is made possible through donor funds suppor ting the development of the field of animal law and education worldwide. Years in the making\, Natasha has been working in collaboration with the Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW)\, Riara University\, and all of our LLM alums from Africa on organizing this two day event. The focus is to expose and excite local law school students\, lawyers\, faculty\, and others to issues in animal law and the growing field. Embedding the conve ntion within the larger Africa Animal Welfare Conference (http://www.aawc onference.org) allows us to reach a larger and more diverse audience.
