Amie Forsberg

My name is Amie Forsberg I am from Corvallis, Oregon.  I have a BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and worked as a Research Assistant at the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, studying genetic bone diseases.  I also volunteered at the Cardiac Mechanics Research Group in the Bioengineering Department of UCSD studying regenerative cardiac myocytes.  After I graduated in 2009, I was burnt out and kind of panicked as to what to do with my life because I was not getting the type of job I wanted. A couple months later, I decided to take the LSAT and attend law school to begin a new career in patent law.  My hobbies include eating, cooking, baking, and relaxing.  My goals in SBA are to keep everything organized and to allocate funding to meet the requests of the student body and SBA.
