Jesse Neilson

My name is Jesse Neilson. I grew up on the Southern Oregon Coast in Coos Bay. I moved to Portland to attend Portland State University where I received a BA in Political Science. I love food, so naturally I love both eating and cooking. I am an avid follower of Portland’s professional sports teams, the Trail Blazers and the Timbers. The motto I live by is: “Begin each day as if it were on purpose.” Not many people know that I speak Spanish or that I love jazz. I am on the Admissions Committee, and I hope to help to continue to bring talented students with diverse backgrounds to Lewis & Clark whose commitment to the Law School will enhance the experience for all of us well into the future.
