Madeline Lefton

My fellow L&C-ers! I’m Madeline Lefton.  I grew up in Santa Monica, CA, and Homer, Alaska, and I love both places, though obviously for very different reasons.  I attended Dartmouth College for undergrad, majoring in History and minoring in Film and Television Studies.  For the past 3 years I worked as a legislative aide in the Alaska State Legislature, focusing on responsible resource development - my goal being to participate in the exciting, evolving energy movement.  I enjoy hiking, cooking, HBO series, deep-sea fishing, and kickin’ it.  I’m very excited to serve as purple pod 1L rep.  My goal is to ensure the purple pod and 1L’s in general feel connected and engaged in our new academic home, and to foster transparent, effective communication between 1L’s, upper-division students, the administration, and faculty.
