This course will explore the control and use of wildlife at the national and international level. Trade in Endangered Species and Whales will be focused upon under their respective treaty. Shark fining, dolphins and seals will allow for the exploring of domestic law and conflicts of nations under the rules of the World Trade Organization. Ethical and legal obligations to individual wildlife and their habitat will be considered. The status of chimpanzee and whales within our legal system will also be focused upon.
