Earthrise represents the Sierra Club and Columbia Riverkeeper in the air quality permitting process for the coal export facility proposed for the Port of Morrow near Boardman, Oregon, one of four currently proposed facilities in the Pacific Northwest that would receive coal by train from Montana and Wyoming for export to asia. Earthrise alums at Columbia Riverkeeper–Brett VandenHuevel, Lauren Goldberg, and Miles Johnson–are involved in the Clean Water Act case.
