Major: Biology

What did you major in and why?

I chose to study biology to fulfill my pre-med requirements.

What was your favorite class and why?

My favorite class was neuroanatomy. It was my first time studying neuronal connectivity to that detail, and it really sparked a new interest for me.

What professor or staff member made a special impact on you?

There are many that impacted my life in and out of the classroom. I feel that Judy McMullen, associate athletic director, really guided me on how to handle any situation life can throw at me.

How has your time here changed you or your view of the world?

My time at Lewis & Clark has taught me the different levels of diversity. I now view the world by looking for something special in everything.

What was your favorite activity (event, club, volunteer experience, etc.)?

Being a part of the football and track programs.

What are your goals after graduation, and how do you think you’ll use your degree?

I plan to get into the medical field and hopefully become a physician. Until then, I might give biology research a chance.

What advice would you give to future Pioneers?

My advice to all Pioneers is to take advantage of the opportunities available to you and enjoy them to the fullest.
