Meg is a public interest environmental lawyer based in Massachusetts. For almost 30 years she has worked on campaigns and litigation relating to water, air, bioenergy, climate, Superfund, wetlands, and nuclear power. She is president of the Project for Energy Accountability and director of EcoLaw. Meg has served on numerous boards, including The Nature Conservancy/Massachusetts Chapter, Wildlands Trust of Southeastern Massachusetts, and the Jones River Watershed Association. She has provided leadership on several campaigns and helped found environmental groups, including the Watershed Action Alliance of Southeastern Massachusetts, Taunton River Campaign, Stop Spewing Carbon Campaign, Cape Cod Bay Watch, and Concerned Neighbors of Pilgrim. Recognition for her work has included the Briggs Leadership Award from the Wildlands Trust and the John O’Connor Grassroots Leadership Award from Clean Water Action. Meg lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she enjoys spending time with her three children, rowing, and knitting.
