NCVLI Announces Advisory Council
Today, the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) announced the formation of its national Advisory Council. The Council was formed as part of NCVLI’s strategic plan as it begins its fifteenth year as the only national organization focused on protecting, enforcing and advancing crime victims’ legal rights. Today, the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) announced the formation of its national Advisory Council. The Council was formed as part of NCVLI’s strategic plan as it begins its fifteenth year as the only national organization focused on protecting, enforcing and advancing crime victims’ legal rights. The Council consists of experts from across the country each of whom has diverse professional and personal backgrounds, including law enforcement, the judiciary, criminal justice lawyers, mental health professionals, researchers, academics, campus violence experts, and survivors. The Council’s role will be to develop policy proposals to inform and guide the work of NCVLI.
