Social Media Internship

We are currently accepting applications for our Social Media Internship Position!

Position Overview: NCVLI is looking for someone who is passionate about survivors’ rights and NCVLI’s mission and is able to represent it across a variety of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn). The social media intern is responsible for maintaining and increasing NCVLI’s social media presence and participation by supporters of NCVLI. The overarching goal of the position is to drive growth through shareable content that cultivates social engagement. The position is unpaid.

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week for a minimum of 3 months.  Some of the hours can be spent off site.

Qualifications: A successful applicant will have an understanding of social media practices, tools, and strategies, and be a resourceful and detail-oriented person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  In addition, a successful applicant must understand the difference between organizational voice and personal opinion.
