Lewis & Clark Law School is a finalist for the Law School Admissions Council’s 2015 Diversity Matters Award. Ten schools are nominated for the award, which goes to law schools that perform various activities to encourage minorities to consider careers in law. Schools earn points for conducting outreach events and activities during DiscoverLaw.org Months yearlong initiative targeted to students from racial and ethnic groups underrepresented in the legal profession. Lewis & Clark’s diversity outreach programs included our annual Summer Law Camp for disadvantaged youth, a Diversity Mock Trial event held each year in February, and joint mentorship event with the National Association of Black Law Students. The winner of the Diversity Matters Award will be announced at LSAC’s annual meeting at the end of May.
Law Communications is located in room 304 of Legal Research Center (LRC) on the law Campus.
