Welcoming new legal Pioneers!

Orientation Day marks 101 years since the law school welcomed its first entering class, in 1915.

New Student Orientation brings excitement and a touch of nerves to campus each year. This year, the law school welcomed 175 entering 1L students from across the U.S. and six different countries.

Those wanting to ease into the transition of law school attended our Summer Institute through the Academic Enhancement Program. On August 15, all entering first year students began a two-week intensive course titled Legal Methods, after which they begin their regular course of study for the fall semester.

We are excited to welcome this interesting, diverse, and promising group of new law students to Lewis & Clark Law School!
