Professor Bob Klonoff named Pound Institute Fellow

Professor and Former Dean Bob Klonoff was recently selected as a Pound Civil Justice Institute Academic Fellow.

Professor and Former Dean Bob Klonoff was recently selected as a Pound Civil Justice Institute Academic Fellow. The Pound Civil Justice Institute is a national legal “think tank” based in Washington DC and it was formed by trial bar members to ensure justice for all citizens. Each year the Institute selects a small number of academic fellows to offer advice and guidance on relevant subject areas.

Klonoff has received a variety of awards including Oregon Consular Corps Award for Individual Achievement in International Outreach, 2007 Award for Outstanding UMKC Law Professor, and 2006 UMKC Law School Elmer Pierson Teaching Award for Most Outstanding Teacher in the Law School.

As a Pound Civil Justice Institute Fellow, Klonoff will participate in a variety of activities aimed to bring balance and support to the US civil justice system.
