This one person, furnished apartment has a private outdoor deck, living room, bedroom, kitchen, private bathroom (has shower, but no bathtub) and shared laundry room. Just down the hill is the bike path to downtown Portland, a great garden in the yard, and even a view of Mt. Hood (well, ok, only if you get up on the roof, so scratch that). Non-smoker and no pets please. Utilities (natural gas, electric, internet) already hooked up, so no connection fee. Has window A/C in bedroom that will cool entire apt. So close to law school (5 min. by bike) you can sleep in ’til 8:30 AM for your 9 AM class. Not that you’d ever do that, of course, but I just want to point out there is always that option.
