The Minority Law Students Association of Lewis & Clark Law School is pleased to host the 10th annual Oregon Minority Job Fair.

The fair is targeted at ethnic minority students, and other persons historically underrepresented in the practice of law.  The event is free for both employers and students.

The fair is an “interview only” fair (no informal “table talk”). Individual interviews are pre-scheduled, in 20 minute blocks, with 10 minutes between interviews.

Participating employers will have the opportunity to interview upper division students from the three Oregon law schools for summer associate/law clerk and/or associate/attorney positions for 2011.  Alternatively, employers who do not know their hiring needs, or that will be hiring later in the spring, are invited to conduct “information-only” interviews.

Interviews at the fair are scheduled on a student preference/lottery basis.  Students who sign up to participate in the fair will be provided a list of participating employers, and will be asked to rank by preference the employers with whom they wish to interview. Students are encouraged to consider any hiring criteria or qualifications when selecting employers. Every effort is made to schedule students with their highest preferenced employers. Individual interviews will be 20 minutes each, with 10 minute break between each interview.  Interview schedules will be provided to both students and employers the week before the fair.
