Kathryn M. Casey LLM ’04 is a shareholder at Jackson Tidus, a preeminent full service law firm headquartered in Irvine, California. Kathryn practices land use and environmental law, and has administrative and litigation experience involving CEQA/NEPA, air quality and water-related issues.  Kathryn represents private landowners and developers in obtaining and defending approvals for development projects, and also public agencies in air quality and environmental matters.  Kathryn has been named to the Rising Stars list by Southern California Super Lawyers magazine every year from 2008 to 2014, and has published several articles and presented at conferences on water and air quality issues.

Kathryn’s experience at Lewis & Clark was her first exposure to the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, and she has very fond memories of her time in Portland.  While at Lewis & Clark, Kathryn obtained exceptional academic training and also clerked at Perkins Coie, where she had the honor of working with Tom Lindley, the Firmwide Chair of the Environment, Energy & Resources group.  This experience was an exciting introduction to the environmental law practice, and helped prepare her for her current position at Jackson Tidus.  Outside of her law practice, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and her two children, Max and Sloane.
