    On behalf of Lewis and Clark College Music Department and Andisheh Center, we are pleased to invite you to Iranian traditional music and art workshops followed by an evening performance on November 18, 2017 in the Diane Gregg Pavilion and Agnes Flanagan Chapel.

  • Image preview 3:30pm: Vocal Tones Workshop with Carol Biel
    Carol Biel leads participants in this workshop through an inner meditative landscape using the practice of vocal toning. Participants will learn how to access and restore chakras reducing anxiety, calming the mind, and igniting creativity. Please join us for this free workshop on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:30pm - 5pm in Seitz Lounge.

December 1st, 2017

  • 7:30pm: Winter Choral Concert
    The choral program presents their winter concert on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 7:30pm in the Agnes Flanagan Chapel. This concert features special guest, conductor and organist Desmond Earley, in a set of early music for the season with Cappella Nova Choir. Brett Paschal will join the Community Chorale in the Oregon premiere of Dominick DiOrio’s “Alleluia” for choir and marimba. Voces Auream will present selections from Britten’s Ceremony of Carols. Katherine FitzGibbon and Brandon Brack, conductors. LIVE STREAMED EVENT

  • 3:00pm: Wind Symphony & Percussion Ensemble
    The Lewis & Clark Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble, and Low Brass Ensemble invite you to an afternoon of diverse music on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 3pm in Evans Auditorium. Composers featured on the concert will include Meij, Mackey, Maslanka, Saucedo, Jarvis, and Slayter. Please set aside this date and invite your friends and family to attend. This will be a concert you don’t want to miss!

    Lewis & Clark’s Palatine Trio (Inés Voglar, violin, Nancy Ives, cello, Susan DeWitt Smith, piano), perform music by Portland composer Tomas Svoboda.

  • 2:00pm: Innigkeit Piano Trio
    Pianist Garret Ross, cellist Ruth Marshall, and Lewis & Clark faculty member Emily Cole perform piano trio works of Beethoven, Ravel, and Carter on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2pm in the Agnes Flanagan Chapel. This event is free and open to the public.

    Purchase your tickets now for only $5 (regularly $17) from Student Activities - cash, check, credit/debit accepted! Tickets are available Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm in Templeton 258 (next to the Council Chamber). Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Moda Center.
