Law Alum Simon ffitch, the Ratepayers’ Representative

Straight after graduating from Lewis & Clark Law School, Simon ffitch helped low-income clients resolve problems with their power company through Legal Aid. Years later, as head of Washington Attorney General’s Public Counsel Division, he continues this work on a larger scale, representing residential and small businesses clients in utility rate cases. “‘We’re the advocate for the customer […] making sure that rates are no higher than they should be, based on the evidence,’” he explains in this Spokesman-Review article.
