Admissions Question: September 9th
Q: I was wondering if sending in my application in October after taking the late Sept./early Oct. test increases my chance of getting accepted vs. sending it in January after taking December test when the admissions starts reviewing them?
Although our review process may not begin until late-December or early January, applying in October definitely puts applicants in a more competitive position because our admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis by reviewing completed files in the order in which they are received. This means that the first files to be reviewed and the first offers of admission to be made will be on the earliest applications received that are complete and ready for review!
That said, applying in January is feasible, if you are not able to sit for the LSAT until December. The most important thing is to be well prepared before sitting for the test.
