    Krista Koehl ‘99

Krista Koehl ’99 graduated from Ohio University in 1995 with a B.S.S. in Environmental Policy, summa cum laude and  earned her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, magna cum laude, in 1999 with a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.  While in law school, Krista was Managing Editor of Environmental Law, a SBA representative, and a member of the Business Roundtable and Cornelius Honor Society.  After graduation Krista joined Stoel Rives where she spent five years practicing environmental law.  Krista is now Assistant General Counsel at the Port of Portland where her focus continues in the area of environmental, natural resources and land use law.

In addition to volunteering her time on the Alumni Board, Krista is a founding board member of Women in Environment, a non-profit dedicated to furthering professional development and opportunities for women in environmental professions through networking, outreach, and mentoring.  When she’s not working, Krista enjoys spinning, painting, exploring new vineyards, and spending time with her husband, Ray Hendricks, son Cortland and their dog Moxie.
