Sarah Petersen, JD ‘08

Director of Alumni Relations 
& Recent Graduate Advising

As the Director of Alumni Relations, Sarah seeks to provide alumni with services and support, to connect alums to students and fellow alumni, and to help alumni maintain strong ties to the Law School. She also works closely with recent graduates to support and advise them on job search strategies, networking plans, preparing application materials, and interview skills.  

Sarah is a 2008 graduate of the Law School. She was previously in private practice, first working with a local firm in Labor and Employment Law, and later as a sole practitioner. Sarah returned to the Law School in 2011, to take on the newly created position of Recent Graduate Advisor, assisting recent graduates.  In 2012, she became Director of Alumni Relations, in addition to her role as Recent Graduate Advisor.

Sarah is a member of the Oregon State Bar, American Bar Association New Lawyers Division, Oregon Women Lawyers and the Multnomah Bar Association, where she serves in the Young Lawyers Section as a Board Member and Treasurer.
