Scheduling Appointments:

Office hours are Monday -Friday 10:00am -1:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm (other times available upon request). Appointments can be in-person or by telephone.

Libby Davis, J.D., Associate Dean of Career & Professional Development and Alumni Relations

Libby is responsible for the office; she performs extensive outreach with employers around the country and with state and local bar associations, and provides individual counseling and programming.  A 1993 cum laude graduate of the law school, she was in private practice and directed the Law School Alumni Office prior to her work in Career Services.  Libby is a member of NALP, the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation Board of Directors, the Oregon State Bar, and the Multnomah Bar AssociationE-Mail Libby

Tracy Sullivan, J.D., Director of Career & Professional Development Center

Tracy A Sullivan graduated with a BS in Environmental Science in 1997 and began law school at Lewis & Clark the same year. Tracy was involved with the SBA, PILP and the Jessup International Moot Court team while at L&C. After graduating in 2000, she served as federal judicial clerk to the Honorable Helen J. Frye and Magistrate Judge Donald C. Ashmanskas with the District Court of Oregon.  Tracy practiced in civil litigation for several years in the bay area before beginning her present career with law school administration. She worked in Career Services for a bay area law school, then as Director for Admissions at L&C before joining the Career & Professional Development Center. Tracy is a member of NALP, the Oregon Women Lawyers Queen’s Bench Board of Directors, the California State Bar, and paddles with the Oregon Women Lawyers Dragonflies dragonboat team.  E-Mail Tracy

Bill Penn, J.D., Director of Public Interest Law

Bill counsels students and provides information about pro bono, LRAP and careers in public interest.  A 2002 cum laude graduate of the law school, he was in private practice,  first in a small firm he opened with a fellow graduate and then with another small firm working in the areas of bankruptcy, tax debt, consumer litigation, and probate prior to his work at Lewis & Clark.  Both as a law student and as an attorney, Bill has been active in a pro bono and public interest activities including the Classroom Law Project, the Multnomah County Small Claims Court mediation program, and the Community Alliance of Tenants.  He is a member of NALP, the Oregon State Bar, and the Multnomah Bar Association where he previously served on the board of the Young Lawyers Section and served as the Chair of the YLS Pro Bono Committee in 2008-2009.  Bill is a 2009 Fellow of the Oregon State Bar Leadership College and coaches the Mock Trial Teams at Grant High School.  E-Mail Bill

Erin Snyder, J.D., Associate Director of Career & Professional Development Center

Erin counsels students and alumni, organizes workshops and panels, and has primary responsibility for judicial clerkship counseling and programs.  Erin graduated with a B.A. in history from Reed College in 2002 and with a J.D., magna cum laude, from Lewis and Clark Law School’s Evening Division in 2009.  During law school, Erin worked on staff for the American Civil Liberties Union of Oregon and for Janet L. Hoffman and David Angeli, of the former criminal defense firm Hoffman Angeli LLP.  After graduation, Erin clerked for Honorable Rick T. Haselton of the Oregon Court of Appeals and practiced as an appellate criminal defense attorney at the Oregon Office of Public Defense Services.  Erin is a member of NALP, the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Oregon State Bar’s Appellate Law Section, and serves as secretary on the Oregon State Bar’s Constitutional Law Executive Committee.  She is also a member of the ACLU of Oregon’s Board of Directors and serves on its Lawyers Committee.   E-Mail Erin

Sarah Petersen, J.D., Graduate Adviser

Sarah works closely with recent graduates to provide support and advice on job search strategies, networking, preparing application materials, and interview skills.  A 2008 graduate of the Law School, she previously was in private practice, first working with a local firm in Labor and Employment Law and later as a sole practitioner.  Sarah is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Oregon Women Lawyers and the Multnomah Bar Association, where she serves in the Young Lawyers Section as a Board Member and Treasurer.  E-Mail Sarah
