PILP Auction - March 1, 2008

A fun-filled evening in support of public interest. Bid on one-of-a-kind items in our silent auction (sponsored by Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt), art auction, and live auction grand finale.

PILP's 18th annual auction will be held in the Lewis & Clark Law School student lounge on March 1, 2008. Visit the Auction Home page to buy tickets or find out more.

Each year the auction raises money to support PILP's public interest Summer Stipend Program and the Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP).

Dean for a Day

Every year at the PILP auction, one of the most hotly contested items is the Dean for a Day. Each year the powers of the Dean of the Lewis and Clark Law School are ceded to one of the 3 classes. The winning class has in the past decreed that only they are allowed to park in the close parking spots, served beer in the amphitheatre and many other fun and ridiculous antics as well. It's a great way to raise money and have a little fun while the spring semester winds down. So make sure your class raises as much money as possible to win this auction item. You don't want to have to walk up that stupid hill from the lower parking lot do you?

PILP's Annual ...And Justice for All Benefit Show

Thanks to everyone who made PILP's 3rd Annual ...And Justice for All! Benefit concert an enormous success. With over 300 people in attendance - including Dean Klonoff! - the L&C community helped PILP raise approximately $1,800 in support of public interest law!

2007 musicial guests: Boy Eats Drum Machine, The Antecedents, Atari Tuesday, and DJ Karizma. Special thanks to L&C's own Erin Fitzgerald and Chris Camarillo who generated some new die hard fans!

Poker for PILP - No Limit Texas Hold'em

Thanks to everyone who put on their best poker faces and joined PILP for an all night Texas Hold 'em tournament that raises money for the Dean for a Day bid at the annual PILP auction.

**Special thanks to Prof. Lansing, Prof. Funk, Prof. Drummonds, Prof. Vail, & Prof. Johnston, who joined us with bounties on their heads, and to Dean Klonoff, who came to show his support for PILP!**
