About Jun Ge
Jun Ge serves as Managing Director of Intel China. In this position, he manages Intel China’s corporate business development, public affairs, Legal and public policy, corporate social responsibility and educational programs. Jun also serves on the Intel China Executive Council and runs the Intel China Leadership Forum.
In January 1996, Jun Ge joined Intel fresh from Lewis and Clark Law School and later moved to Intel Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Hong Kong where he assumed the leading counsel role for Intel China. At Intel Asia Pacific, he was responsible for corporate business development and legal support in the region covering corporate entity structuring, new site selection, strategic business transaction negotiation, competition policy, IP protection and dispute resolution. In 2003, he and his family relocated to Shanghai.
In the past 16 years at Intel, Jun Ge has advised and acted as part of the decision making team for Intel’s overall business development and expansion in China and Asia Pacific region. He has had an instrumental role in landing Intel’s multi-billion dollar investment projects in Pudong, Chengdu, Dalian and Hochimin City and managing a growing business with revenue of over 7 billion dollars in 2011 alone. He also helped structure Intel’s Sales and Marketing and R/D corporate presence in China.
Prior to attending Lewis and Clark Law School and joining Intel, Jun Ge worked as a private practice attorney and corporate counsel in China, mainly focusing on foreign direct investment, corporate financing and international trade.
Jun Ge received his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School, MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and LL.B. from the East China University of Political Science and Law. He is a frequent speaker on rule of law, innovation, M/A, intellectual property and WTO related matters. Jun also works as the Vice Chairman of the China Committee of Corporate Citizenship, Vice Executive Director of China Association for Foreign Investment Enterprises, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association, Executive Director of Shanghai Overseas Exchange Association and Adjunct Professor of Law at the East China University of Political Science and Law.
