Elaine Hallmark
Elaine Hallmark '76, attorney and mediator, was a founding partner of Confluence Northwest in 1988 and is now President of Hallmark Pacific Group, LLC, a Portland mediation and facilitation firm specializing in public policy, environmental, natural resource, health care, workplace, and business issues. She chaired the Oregon Dispute Resolution Commission for three years and was instrumental in developing Oregon's public policy dispute resolution program. She served as national co-chair of the Environmental/Public Disputes Sector of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution from 1992-94, and served as program chair for the Society's 1998 International Conference. As co-chair of the Oregon Mediation Association Ethics Committee, she oversaw the creation of a state-of-the-art Ethics Code for mediators. Considered a pioneer in the field of mediation, Elaine provides outstanding training programs for mediators.
