You are invited to join us in congratulating four outstanding graduates of Lewis & Clark Law School in an awards ceremony just prior to the 23rd Annual Distinguished Visitor lecture.
Each year Lewis & Clark’s environmental and natural resources law faculty honor outstanding graduates who have advanced the field of environmental and natural resources law for more than 10 years following graduation. This year’s Distinguished Environmental Graduates are Kate Brown, Oregon Secretary of State; Phil Schiliro, the President’s Liaison to Congress; and Dennis Treacy, Vice President of
Environmental and Corporate Affairs for Smithfield Foods, Inc..
Another annual award is presented by the Environmental Alumni Association to an outstanding recent graduate who has demonstrated a commitment to public interest environmental work. This year’s Williamson Award honoree, Ben Luckett ‘10, will work with the Appalachian Center for the Economy and Environment in Lewisburg, West Virginia on mountaintop removal coal mining issues.
