INFORMATION!

Lewis & Clark has two community gardens, started and managed by the Garden Club on the undergrad campus. The two garden plots - one near the undergrad dorms, one on the graduate campus - were started in 2008 and have been actively gardened for the past two years, including the summers. Undergrad and graduate students alike have enjoyed the fruits of harvests from the gardens. Gardeners share maintenance work, compost happily, weed liberally, and harvest delicious food.

ELC works in conjunction with the undergrad student group Students Engaged in Eco-Defense (SEED)

If you’re interested in sharing a Law School plot in one of the gardens, participating in community garden work days, and/or getting your hands dirty with the development of more garden space for the school community, tell us about it! We want to know who’s interested, all levels of experience welcome.

Email Liv Brumfield to be connected to the grow-your-own-food-at-L&C-movement, and to be tuned in to next steps!
