IPSO’s Annual Chili Cook-Off

IPSO invites everyone to its annual Chili Cook-Off, whether you want to enter your chili in the contest or simply want to enjoy some free food, drinks, and company.

For those of you (students, faculty, or staff) who want to see how your secret chili recipe stacks up or simply want to get a shot at some cool prizes, please ENTER THE CONTEST. All you have to do is email nicolo@lclark.edu before the contest and then bring your chili to the LRC the morning of November 5th. At 12pm a panel of faculty “judges” will rank their two favorite recipes. Students will also vote on their favorite chili. Later in the afternoon prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd place chilies as well as to the “student choice award” chili.

If you cannot enter the contest, feel free to come by for the free FOOD and BEER! After the judges have cast their votes, the chili and other food will be available for lunch. There will also be a keg of cold beer to wash down those particularly spicy chili’s (for those with 21+ I.D.).
