Animal Consciousness - SALDF Speaker Series Event
12:15pm - 1:30pm Animal Consciousness

Science has come a long way since then, so come learn some new things about what animals think and feel.
Peter Spendelow has a Ph.D. in Zoology, specializing in Evolutionary Ecology, from the University of Washington. He has been an environmental specialist for the oregon Department of Environmental Quality for 26 years, and currently is the President of Northwest VEG, a local non-profit group that promotes healthy, sustainable, compassionate plant-based diets and that presents the Portland VegFest at the Oregon Convention Center each September.
