Juliet Stumpf Honored With Leo Levenson Award

The graduating class conferred the 2016 Leo Levenson Award for Excellence in Teaching on Juliet Stumpf, Robert E. Jones Professor of Advocacy and Ethics.

Stumpf is an international expert on the intersection of immigration and criminal law—or crimmigration—which she approaches with interdisciplinary insights from sociology, psychology, criminology, and political science. She is coauthor of two immigration law casebooks: Immigration and Citizenship: Process and Policy and Forced Migration: Law and Policy. A cofounder and member of the board of directors of a transnational network of crimmigration scholars, Stumpf also sits on the advisory group of Oxford University’s academic blog Border Criminologies and on the board of directors of the Innovation Law Lab.
