NCVLI and OVC TTAC are offering scholarships to attend NCVLI’s upcoming Crime Victim Law Conference.

Scholarship Opportunities

CRIME VICTIM/SURVIVOR SCHOLARSHIPS:  NCVLI is offering a limited number of Crime Victim/Survivor Scholarships for crime victims/survivors who have at least one (1) year of volunteer/advocacy service to other victims to attend the Crime Victim Law Conference.  Funding is available to cover tuition and/or lodging (up to 2 hotel nights at the conference hotel).  For more information please download the application form. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS: (please note that unlike the Crime Victim/Survivor scholarships, Professional Development Scholarships are administered directly through OVC TTAC). The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) offers a limited number of Professional Development Scholarships for state, local, and community-based victim service providers to attend the Crime Victim Law Conference.  In support of those professionals seeking continuing education opportunities, the Program provides up to $1000 for individuals and up to $5000 for multi-disciplinary teams.  Funding is limited, and applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements.  For more information or to apply for a scholarship, please visit the OVC TTAC website. Note that all professional development scholarship applications are due at least 45 days prior to the event - or April 30, 2011 for NCVLI’s conference.
