We are currently reviewing requests for travel grants to the 27thAnnual Animal Law Conference in Portland, Oregon, USA in October 25–27, 2019 – co-presented by the Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis & Clark Law School, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and the Lewis & Clark Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter.
Grants are available to individuals (maximum $1500) or organizations (maximum of $2,000) to be used to help with the associated costs of travel (airfare, registration, transportation, and accommodations). Only one grant will be awarded to an organization and divided among individuals representing/affiliated/employed by that organization. Each grant will require recipients to agree to a set of terms and conditions provided at the time the award is offered.
Priority will be given to graduates of Lewis & Clark Law School.
Grants will be distributed in the form of a reimbursement after copies of all receipts have been submitted. We will be unable to distribute funds in advance without receipts and attendance at the event is required.
